toptentuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is an original blog meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.  This feature was created because they are particularly fond of lists over there at The Broke and the Bookish. I’d love to share my lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!

Today’s Top Ten Tuesday is “Books On My Spring TBR”

The Loose Ends List by Carrie Firestone.

A seventeen-year-old Maddie O’Neill Levine lives a charmed life, and is primed to spend the perfect pre-college summer with her best friends and young-at-heart socialite grandmother, tying up high school loose ends. Maddie’s plans change the instant Gram announces that she is terminally ill and has booked the family on a secret cruise ship so that she can leave the world in her own unconventional way.

I think this book is going to be amazing. Not a lot of people get to spend their lasting days together with their whole family. I would of loved this kind of opportunity with my parents. I’m really excited for this one.

Girl Against The Universe by Paula Stokes

Maguire is bad luck. No matter how many charms she buys off the internet or good luck rituals she performs each morning, horrible things happen when Maguire is around. Like that time the rollercoaster jumped off its tracks. Or the time the house next door caught on fire. Or that time her brother, father, and uncle were all killed in a car crash—and Maguire walked away with barely a scratch.

Eeep, I been waiting for this book F.O.R.E.V.E.R. I think this is a cute story about accepting the past, embracing the future, and learning to make your own luck. and I’ve had my eye, since the beginning.

P.S. I love you by Kasie West

What if the person you were falling for was a total mystery?

While Lily is spacing out in Chemistry one day, she picks up her pencil and scribbles a line from one of her favorite songs on the desk. The next day, someone else has written back to her on the desk! Soon enough Lily and the mystery student are exchanging notes, and lyrics, and even sharing secrets.

OMG! How cute does this sound!!! Can you even image if that would of happened to you. Mmmm I just love, love, love, romance stories and this sound like a perfect fit.

The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson

Andie had it all planned out. When you are a politician’s daughter who’s pretty much raised yourself, you learn everything can be planned or spun, or both. Especially your future. Important internship? Check. Amazing friends? Check. Guys? Check (as long as we’re talking no more than three weeks) But that was before the scandal.

This COVER! I have to admit when I first saw it, I didn’t like it. It reminded me of a magazine and  it looked to busy. But the more I see it, the more I like it. Just look at it. Its makes me want summer so bad and look at all the adorable puppies Eeeppp! And how can I forget the ice cream. It gets me everytime lol. Like right now, I want Mr.Softy!!!!!!!!!! 🙁

Cure for the Common Universe by Christian McKay Heidicker

Sixteen-year-old Jaxon is being committed to video game rehab . . .

ten minutes after he met a girl. A living, breathing girl named Serena, who not only laughed at his jokes but actually kinda sorta seemed excited when she agreed to go out with him.

Jaxon’s first date. Ever.

I just recently found out about this book. I thought it was a pretty cool plot and I’m really interested and reading this fun nerdy book.

The Memory Book by Lara Avery

They tell me that my memory will never be the same, that I’ll start forgetting things. At first just a little, and then a lot. So I’m writing to remember.

Sammie was always a girl with a plan: graduate at the top of her class and get out of her small town as soon as humanly possible. Nothing will stand in her way–not even a rare genetic disorder the doctors say will slowly start to steal her memories and then her health. What she needs is a new plan.

I discover The Memory book a few days ago. I was intrigued by the memory lost and how a top of her class girl with deal which such disorder. This topic hits a bit to close to home and I would love to know about this author goes about it.
