Seventeen-year-old Snow has spent the majority of her life within the walls of the Whittaker Institute, a high security mental hospital in upstate New York. Deep down, she knows she's not crazy and doesn't belong there. When she meets a mysterious, handsome new orderly and dreams about a strange twisted tree she realizes she must escape and figure out who she really is.
Using her trusting friend Bale as a distraction, Snow breaks free and races into the nearby woods. Suddenly, everything isn't what it seems, the line between reality and fantasy begins to blur, and she finds herself in icy Algid--her true home--with witches, thieves, and a strangely alluring boy named Kai, none of whom she's sure she can trust. As secret after secret is revealed, Snow discovers that she is on the run from a royal lineage she's destined to inherit, a father more powerful and ruthless than she could have imagined, and choices of the heart that could change the fate of everything...including Snow's return to the world she once knew.
This breathtaking first volume begins the story of how Snow becomes a villain, a queen, and ultimately a hero.

MY THOUGHTS

Well, hot freaking damn! This book was spectacular!!!!!!

I love, fairy tale retellings and fantasy. It’s one of my favorite genres. So obviously I would pick it up “Stealing Snow” by Danielle Paige. I’m so ecstatic that I did. Even though I didn’t read her previous series “Dorothy Must Die” Which had a lot of buzz. However, I’m not fond of the Publishing House. So I had to pass.

But now, now that I read “Stealing Snow” I don’t know if I can’t contain myself. I must read everything from this author.
Danielle Paige is a fabulous author, her writing is amazing and captures every detail delectably. I was mesmerized from the first page. The way her words just glide throughout the book was astonishing and I can still remember every word I read. Not many books can do that for me. Not many books can leave such an impact like that. I must say, I’m pretty speechless.

Other than the amazing writing “Stealing Snow” by Danielle Paige, is an outstanding fantasy story. It’s full of magic, forbidden romance, and betrayal.
The elements of magic were pretty majestic. There were some enticing scenes. However, I was rendered speechless when it came to the romance. I was not expecting so many “situations” lol. I can’t really go into detail, as I will no doubt let out spoilers . But know that it is pretty interesting and delectable. 😉

Last but definitely not least. The betrayal!!!! How it ripped me to pieces. I can still feel the pain and the outrage I felt. Never had I ever, expected that insane, gripping, soul-crushing betrayal, after betrayal. I was at a wits’ end with so many emotions rolling through me. The more I read, the harder I gripped and the straighter I set up. It was insane and I freaking LOVED every minute.

I can only image what the sequel for Stealing Snow series will be like. I’ll be here, hopelessly, waiting for 2017 to get here.
