The world building is amazing, the characters will definitely have a special place in your heart after you finish, it is a masterpiece and to be honest, one of my favorite 2018 books❤️📚 The other book I read was Forest of a Thousand Lanterns by Julie C. Dao is a MUST READ. It’s one of the best books I have ever read in my life❤️ Julie’s writing style is stunning and will definitely make you want to keep reading more. It’s an amazing and wonderful story. One that I will never forget❤️ This copy is extra especial to me because Julie signed it for me , I literally cried when I saw it! Thank you so much Helena and Julie, you guys are the best❤️💕

My goals for 2018

On December 28th of 2017 I sat down with a book and a pen, I started at the blank page before me and started to write what I was sure I wanted to do. Some of my goals for this new year are:

1) Write more. I love to write with all my heart and this year I’m determined to finish a story I have been meaning to finish for a long time now. And also finish the story I’m co-writing with my bestie Melissa from The Reader and The Chef, we love this story with all our hearts, we still have to write a lot more and we really can’t wait to share this story with you❤️

2) Take pics for bookstagram❤️ This year I’m planning to take more pics for my bookstagram account! I hope you like them, my IG user name is @BookNerdBecky 😊

3) Reach my Goodreads challenge💪 this year I set my challenge for 30 books but I’m hoping to read more than 30 😉*fingers crossed*

4) Read books from my TBR! I’m determined to read them all this year or at least read half of them😊

5) Work out 💪

Those are my top five goals for this year, did you guys set goals for this year? Also, have you guys read any of these books? I have heard nothing but amazing things, what book would you recommend me to read next? Please let me know in the comments below!😊⭐️

Thank you so much for stoping by today, it really means the world to us!

Rebeca ❤️

I recommend picking it up as soon as you can. I’m also excited for Forest of a Thousand Lanterns, it’s been on my TBR since it came out. Hopefully I can get to it soon!

What a fabulous book haul. I’m so jealous that you have Children of Blood and Bone. That’s one of my most anticipated reads for 2018 so far. I got the Grishaverse series for Christmas and can’t wait to read it!

  10. Di @ Book Reviews by Di

First of all, thank you soooooooo much for stopping by my blog last year. I have taken a few weeks off and only just slowly getting back into the swing of things now and I’m catching up on all my visits back to blogs.

Secondly – what an awesome haul! I hope you live all of those reads and some are even on my own TBR. I can’t wait to see what you think of them.

My goals for the year are to slice out a little time at least every second day if not ever day to visit back bloggers and leave comments. It easier than doing it all in one sitting I think? And it means I’ll be able to visit a greater range of blogs I hope.

I also would love to work on myself more – more working out, more time to just me, and not just my reading time in bed at night for a bit before I fall asleep!

Oh, and my regular – Drink More Water!

I hope we both manage to meet our goals as best as we can this year.
