What could I possibly say about this book? I don’t really know, my emotions are all mixed right now after that last sentence in the very end. But of course I’ll try.
This book was AWESOME and AMAZING, Danielle L. Jensen way of writing is amazing and I’m sure I’m not the only one saying this, she didn’t disappoint me at all with this book.I have wanted to read this book since forever, but I have always been afraid for what would happen to the characters that I have become very fond of.
My heart broke so many times that I lost count, I can’t believe all the things that Tristan had to endure for the sake of saving Cècile’s life in Stolen Songbird, and the fact that his father was the one who hurt him the worst. Tristan’s friends weren’t the exception, Marc, Vincent, Victoria even Anaïs, they all paid the consequences for what Tristan did.
Cècile didn’t suffer a lot in this book, well not like them, her mission was to pursue Anushka, and she did things that she didn’t want to do in order to find her, but she didn’t do this alone, her friends were with her all the time supporting her and helping her in her mission.
But of course I wasn’t sad while reading the book!, well not ALL the time, I laughed too, really, the book wasn’t all bad stuff happening to the characters, and there was romance too. One of the stuff that I like about this book is that there isn’t a love triangle! *Yay* I know right? I mean I don’t have anything against that, but I like to know who the characters are in love with. The book was amazing I promise, it’s well written and it transports you to this beautiful world full of fantasy and friendship.
You should totally read it If you like fantasy, people fighting for the good cause and also, a beautiful love story.
Now I need book 3.
