Review: Real by Katy Evans

TITLE:  Real   AUTHOR: Katy Evans  RELEASE DATE: April 8th, 2013

A fallen boxer.

A woman with a broken dream.

A competition…

He even makes me forget my name. One night was all it took, and I forgot everything and anything except the sexy fighter in the ring who sets my mind ablaze and my body on fire with wanting…

Remington Tate is the strongest, most confusing man I’ve ever met in my life.

He’s the star of the dangerous underground fighting circuit, and I’m drawn to him as I’ve never been drawn to anything in my life. I forget who I am, what I want, with just one look from him. When he’s near, I need to remind myself that I am strong–but he is stronger. And now it’s my job to keep his body working like a perfect machine, his taut muscles primed and ready to break the bones of his next opponents. . .

But the one he’s most threatening to, now, is me.

I want him. I want him without fear. Without reservations.

If only I knew for sure what it is that he wants from me?

GENRE: Romance, Contemporary, New Adult SOURCE: Purchased Self

WOW just wow! Let me tell you what an Unbelievable story. I’m so in love with Remington Tate (Riptide). What can I say that already hasn’t been said by this amazing series? The way Katy Evans writes is beautiful. She has a talent of grabbing you and not letting go. Your emotions will be on high alert throughout the whole story.

Remy Remy Remy. I fell in love and I fell hard. From the moment he locked eyes with Brooke. He had me. The way he just left the middle of the MMA fight (that he was fighting) and went after HER!!!! To know her name…

”Your name,” he growls, panting, his eyes wild on mine.

Uh, Brooke.
“Brooke what?” he snaps out, his nostrils flaring
.

My goodness I was a complete mess. I was left panting after that encounter and what an encounter that was and did I mention that this was only the beginning? Life hasn’t been great for Remy and I worried for him most of the time. All that he had gone through in his life wasn’t easy, but he still fought thru.

“I hurt everything I touch. I destroy things! That’s the only thing I’m good at.”

One of the things about Remy, is that he has trouble expressing his feelings. So he uses his love for music to get his point across. His talent in picking songs for the right moment is amazing. One of the songs that he uses to express his feeling is a song by Goo Goo Dolls “Iris” I liked this song before but now Remy made me love it swooommm!! 🙂

“I want to play you a thousand different songs so you get a clue of what I feel inside me…”

Brooke Dumas, what a lucky girl to be Remy’s person of interest, right?! Brooke is a 20-something college graduate. Whose dreams of competing in the Olympics for the gold medal for sprinting were crushed when she suffered and career ending accident.

“I’m still a little broken from my fall and trying to find my way into a new career.”

She has a bit of trouble getting over her crushed dreams. I would also, if all my life I trained to become the best of the best and compete in the Olympics and in one day my knee decided to quit and end my career. So what is she to do but start a new career as a physical therapist.

To Brooke’s surprise, after meeting the hot Remy. He hires her to be his personal physician for three months. Her attraction to Remy is steamy hot and with her role as a physical therapist, she has to touch him everyday and every time she does, she gets undone.

“I’m undone. Completely undone. Every sexual organ in me is awake and aching.”

I will let you know now. You will be sexual frustrated its a warning lol But it is all worth it. There will be lots of foreplay and it is all deliciously good. But when Brooke and Remy do get together,
god damn it is good. Fireworks will explode and amazing light shows will be provided for your viewing pleasures lol.

“Why’d you want to have sex with me? To have a fucking adventure? What was I supposed to be? Your one-night-fucking stand? I’m every woman’s adventure, damn you, and I don’t want to be yours. I want to be your fucking REAL. You get that?”

I loved “Real”  it was amazing. I can not express how much I enjoyed it. The fact that there are four more books is extraordinary. I can’t hardly contain my excitement for the next book in the series. My rating for “Real” is a BIG 5 Stars. It’s one of my TOP Favorites and I’ll recommend this book to anyone over 18!!
