Friday Reads #2: Hunting Prince Dracula by Kerri Maniscalco

Friday Reads #2: Hunting Prince Dracula by Kerri Maniscalco

THE CANDID COVER  came up with an amazing idea of combining 2 book memes together. Helena and I think this is an amazing and super creative idea to discover new books and to share the ones we love with everyone else! The Two memes we will be featuring on Fridays will be none other than Book Beginnings, a book meme hosted by Rose City Reader where participants share the first sentence (or so) of the book, along with initial thoughts about the sentence, impressions of the book, or anything else the opener inspires. And The Friday 56, hosted by Freda’s Voice, the rules are quite simple: Grab a book, any book, and turn to page 56 or 56% on your e-reader. Find any non-spoiler sentence(s) and post. You can also link up your […]

Before I start to fangirl about the book, can we please take a moment to appreciate the design of the book?! It´s absolutely beautiful and purple… PURPLE GUYS!!! My favorite color in case you didn´t now ;D Plus it has deckled edges which makes the book look kind of vintage and magical *swoons* What else can I say? Review: Iron Cast by Destiny Soria

Review: Iron Cast by Destiny Soria

Hello guys, how have you been? Today I´ll be sharing my thoughts about Iron Cast!!!!! Before I read the book I heard so many AMAZING THINGS about it and I was intrigued, I immediately added it to my TBR and after finishing the book, this thought came to my mind: “Why didn´t I read this book sooner?” This book was F A N T A S T I C. The story takes place in Boston. Corinne and Ada, the MC´s of the story, work at the Cast Iron, a club. What do they do? They have this amazing ability to make people feel whatever they want them to feel, and while it´s prohibited by law, some people actually go to the club for that. Ada […]

ARC Review: Stalking Jack The Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco

Hello guys, today I will talk to you about Stalking Jack The Ripper, and guess what?!? It was absolutely amazing and… I read this book because of two reasons: 1) I heard SO MANY amazing things about it and 2) it´s inspired in the unsolved case of Jack The Ripper! The book´s absolutely gorgeous. It has an amazing cover and also contains pictures inside that make the story even more special. Now let´s talk about the story The story was super original; Kerri wrote this story in a way that I wasn´t able to put the book down from the very first page; it’s impossible, believe me, even more, when you read the first sentence of the book. Audrey Rose was my favorite character in […]

A while ago, when Sarah and other readers started to talk about the book I was curious, so I went to goodreads to look for it and once I read the synopsis I was obsessed. I immediately added it to my TBR. I was super sad at the same time because when I added it I noticed the release date and I couldn´t believe that I had to […]

{Blog Tour} Review and Giveaway: The Crown’s Game by Evelyn Skye

{Blog Tour} Review and Giveaway: The Crown’s Game by Evelyn Skye

MY THOUGHTS My experience with this book was luxurious, captivating and magical! I didn’t want this world to end. I was captivated by the world built. The amazing characters and their magical powers. Boy, oh boy, oh boy. I was beyond pleased and delighted the whole time. To me, The Crown’s Game was immediately engaging because I love Historical Fiction and Fantasy! I mean how could I NOT. It’s two of my favorite genres. Once I read the blurb I was lost and couldn’t stop thinking about it. While reading The Crown’s Game I felt delighted, entertained, heartbroken and even a bit shocked by some plot events that had happened. This book will definitely take you for an emotional rollercoaster ride that’s for sure. You […]
