This book was absolutely PERFECT & AMAZING.
It was so real, funny, lovely and heartbreaking, all at the same time, making it the perfect kind of read.
I heard about this book a while ago, and I absolutely loved the synopsis, I just knew that I had to read it, plus it has a lovely cover <3<3<3<3<3 and I´m glad I read it, it was absolutely worth it; I read it in a day can you believe it?!?! It was just THAT GOOD.
The way Katherine wrote this story makes it impossible to put the book down.
The MC of the story, Viviana, went through a lot.
Everything seemed to be falling apart in her life. But with the help of her best friend and the new friends she made in the summer, she starts to realize that she can start over and not let one mistake define the rest of her life and must importantly, that she can trust in others again.
This book it´s about real life issues, about how one must overcome them in order to keep going in their lives and I was happy with how Viviana managed everything in her life.
If you like books about friendship, love and second chances, I think you should totally read this one <3

E. Katherine Kottaras is originally from Chicago, but now she writes and teaches in the Los Angeles area. She holds an M.A. in English from the University of California, Irvine and teaches writing and literature at Pasadena City College. She is interested in the stories we tell, the stories we are given, and the ways we can redefine our worlds by discovering which stories are true.
